Together Dr Peter & Tennielle Cockram have incorporated their combined knowledge of health and wellness to create a thriving clinic which has welcomed and supported many, many clients over the past 10 years. With the love and support of their amazing team, Wellness on Beaufort is able to provide quality services including Chiropractic, massage therapies and fitness as an integral part of a healthy, happy and successful life.
Dr Peter Cockram graduated from Hale School year 2000. Initially Peter studied medicine & biomedicine science at UWA until he found a passion for holistic health and changed his degree to a double degree, Bachelor of Science in Chiropractic & Bachelor of Chiropractic. Dr Peter lives in Mount Lawley with his wife Tennielle and his two sons Macgyver and Charlie. He loves to spend his free time with his family and getting outdoors. He also enjoys reading, cooking, travelling and is a West Coast Eagles Fan.
Tennielle became a Master Trainer and Nutrition Advisor in 2006 and is registered and certified through Fitness Australia as a Category 3 trainer and has continued further studies in rehabilitation, pre/post natal and weight loss.
She is also a qualified pilates instructor and utilises ball, band and circle equipment. I take pride in my personal and professional experience within the health and fitness industry and with all of my knowledge about training and nutrition, I decided to create an atmosphere to enthuse and educate individuals ready to take those first steps and to improve their health and life for the better.
Dr Alex obtained her Bachelor in Science and Bachelor of Chiropractic at Murdoch University. She started as a patient at Wellness on Beaufort when she competed in state level basketball and experienced firsthand the improvements in overall health and recovery from Chiropractic. She is passionate about preventative care to ensure all have a healthy and fulfilling life. Through a holistic approach of chiropractic, nutrition, stress management and exercise plans, she is able to individualise her care and treatment plan. Areas of interest include caring for and supporting women and children. She endeavours to further her knowledge in women’s health and Paediatrics. Outside of Chiropractic, she loves to get outdoors, practice Pilates and spend time with her family and friends.
Through my studies with the Australian College of Massage I gained the Certificate IV in Massage Therapy Practice and the Diploma of Remedial Massage. Along with developing practical massage skills I became aware of the importance of treating the body as a whole, after all everything is interconnected. Massage is a wonderful tool to care for the mind as well as the body and helps to alleviate stresses, be they from physical strains or emotional pressures. I love to combine relaxation and remedial techniques leaving you feeling rejuvenated in body and mind.
Carley, a Remedial Massage Therapist since 2012, also holds a Bachelor of Science and multiple practitioner certificates that she integrates to make personalised treatment plans for her clients. With a special interest in cranial and parasympathetic work she addresses issues such as TMJ dysfunction, headaches, migraines, frozen shoulder, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, feet fatigue as well as general muscular tension of the neck, back and shoulder. Carley also offers facial rejuvenation and spa wellness treatments to enhance her client care.
Peter holds an Australian qualification in Remedial Massage Therapy and has also had the pleasure of studying massage in Thailand. I love my work as a massage therapist focusing on sport, deep tissue, remedial therapies and dry needling. It is very fulfilling to work with clients and achieve their wellness goals.
